Hi everyone!

First of all, we'd like to say that having you at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort and expense of traveling to be with us are things we deeply appreciate. We are thrilled to celebrate this happy occasion with you!

We have been blessed to have accumulated most of the "essential" home items a newly engaged couple needs over the past eleven years. We are excited to take our first adventure as husband and wife! We have never been on vacation, just the two of us, outside of North Carolina, and it is long overdue! Travel is important to both of us. Although we love living in North Carolina, we would like to explore other places together also. Early on in our relationship, Darren said he'd probably never make it out of the country because his dream was to own a farm. Living on a farm means not a lot of long stretches of time off, and we would be especially grateful if we were able to take this opportunity to explore a new part of the world together before we settle down. We don't know the next time we'll be able to do a trip like this together, so we want to make this one count! We'll do our best to document the experience and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.

We will look back on the memories we create on our honeymoon with smiles and laughter. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us create these memories. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come. We plan to decorate our home with photos and mementos of this exciting time together. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new set of wine glasses (especially at OUR breakage rate!).
